Technical cooperation projects

Upon requests from the government of each country, the following technical cooperation projects have been conducted based on the JICA’s system.

JICA-BPS Technical Cooperation Project for the Capacity Building for Philippine Standards and Conformity Assessment Programs (since FY2005)

In order to assist with government standardization activities in the Philippines with a view to establishing conformity assessment system in the electricity and electronics sector, technical guidance and technology transfer have been carried out through the dispatch of experts and the acceptance of trainees.

The Japanese Technical Cooperation Project for Enhancing the Competency of Electronical and Electronics Institute of the Kingdom of Thailand (since FY2005)

In order to enhance the capabilities of the Electrical and Electronic Institute (EEI) in Thailand and encourage them to join the IECEE/CB system, technical guidance and technology transfers have been carried out through the dispatch of experts and the acceptance of trainees.
