Governmental cooperation

Aid for developing countries by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is based on bilateral commitments and is provided upon requests from partner countries. The system is as follows:

Acceptance of trainees

Inviting local trainees to Japan so as to provide them with training on standards and conformity assessment system, etc. through lectures and training sessions

Technical cooperation project

Implementing technical guidance and technology transfer through the long- and short-term dispatch of experts and acceptance of trainees

Survey cooperation

Providing cooperation for surveys to implement projects such as the research into- and formulation of development projects and the implementation of feasibility studies
