A manufacture which products enter in the category of a designated JIS mark item, can apply to be certified in order that its foctory can affix the JIS mark to its products. METI or JIS Mark certification body designated by JASC(Japan Accreditation System for Product Certification Bodies of JIS Mark) will grant the certification when the factory meets the requirements.
