Follow-up inspection for each JIS Mark certified factory will be performed by an Inspection Body designated by JASC(Japan Accreditation System for Product Certification Bodies of JIS Mark) in foreign countries.
The Designated Inspection Body will perform an on-site inspection and report their findings to METI. METI assesses the findings and then decides to re-confirm the status or to withdraw the authorization to affix JIS-mark of the factory.
